7000TEU container ship H1534 docked at the branch

Last week of November, the 7,000TEU container ship H1534 built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, for the owner of the Singapore Sea Consortium, was successfully docked at the branch. The company's deputy general manager Zhang Wei, production directors Nie Xiang and Chen Yehua, quality director Zhang Xiaokai and relevant branch leaders, shipowner's on-site team manager Wei Xiaofei, American Bureau of Shipping project manager Jiang Xin and representatives from relevant branch departments attended the docking ceremony.

The smooth docking of the ship shows that after more than two months of production preparations, as a test field for Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding to increase production capacity and innovate construction models, the branch has officially entered the comprehensive speed-up construction stage. The branch will quickly replicate Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding's strong technical strength and high production efficiency, accelerate the pace of production and operation, continue to promote speed and efficiency, and strive to build high-quality first-class ships.

The ship was designed in detail by Shanghai Ship Design Institute (SDARI), uses MAN 7G80ME-C10.5 main engine, and meets TIER III and EEDI III specifications. As the last of a series of 12 7,000TEU container ships built by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding for Sea Consortium, the branch will continue to win the final battle of the project with its excellent quality and management capabilities, and explore replicable and promoteable An innovative off-site shipbuilding model with the characteristics of Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding.
